Benzie-Leelanau District Health Department
Personal Health Division -- School Based Services -- Hearing Screening

The health department employs certified technicians to provide hearing screening and follow-up services.

Hearing screening is offered to all public school students in kindergarten, second, fourth, and sixth grades.  To receive hearing screening for a student in school, please contact your school principal.

If you have a preschooler ages 3-5 years in need of hearing screening, contact Ruth Griner at 231-882-2107 to arrange a hearing screening appointment.

There is no charge for this service.
