Public Health Nurse

As a Public Health Nurse, you’ll work with families across the lifespan through our Women, Infants and Children (WIC), Maternal-Infant home visiting, and Immunization programs. You’ll educate, support and empower individuals in our community.

This is a full-time position based primarily in Benzie County, with occasional travel to our Leelanau County office.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a Registered Nurse
• Has at least 1 year of experience in maternal-child health, immunizations, and/or public health.
• Provides exceptional customer service and enjoys building trusted relationships with families, coworkers, and community partners.
• Is organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
• Is passionate about improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve.

Now Accepting Snow Removal Bid Proposals

The Benzie-Leelanau District Health Department is now accepting bid proposals for snow removal services at the Benzie Office located at 6051 Frankfort Highway, Benzonia, MI. 

A site map showing required snow removal and shovel zones is provided for reference. Interested bidders may contact Renee to obtain full bid specifications. Proposals must be submitted by October 18.
